What is Iconoid?

Iconoid is a Windows desktop icon manager. 

  • Save and restore icon positions
     
  • Remove or color icon text background
     
  • Select any color for icon text
     
  • Automatically hide icons
     
  • Works on XP through Windows 11
  • Iconoid works on Windows 8, 10 & 11 but hasn't been extensively tested on any of them.

    * Setting icon text colors doesn't work with jpeg backgrounds.
    Desktop context menu entries aren't shown on Win 11. Use the tray icon instead.
